Salvation

What must I do to be saved?
Religion teaches us that there are many roads to God and to His heaven. The Bible teaches that there is but one way to God and to His Heaven. Religion is not that road. A personal relationship with God places us on the road which leads to heaven. The Bible also teaches that anyone can have a relationship with God and therefore end up in His heaven! The Bible says in II Peter 3:9 "God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." and in Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

How is a man "saved" or "born again"?

1) Realize you are a sinner and cannot come to God or be found acceptable in His sight on your own. Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and come short of the glory (standard) of God."

2) Understand that God loves YOU and sent His son Jesus to pay the price for your sin and mine. John 3:16; Romans 5:8 "But commendeth (showed or proved) His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us."

3) Believe that with your sin paid for by Christ, heaven and a relationship with God is possible and is made available to you as a gift. Ephesians 2:8,9; Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

4) Receive Jesus Christ, by faith, as your personal Saviour today! John 14:6; Romans 10:9-13 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (vs9) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."(vs13)

I encourage you to be saved today! II Corinthians 6:2 ". . . behold now is the accepted time; behold now is the day of salvation."
